Where is cex in cardiff

Im a regular customer. I work in Cardiff city centre and go to this store maybe 4 times a week. Great range of products at usually decent prices :- x. Best place to buy and sell. Always a good selection of blu-rays. Quirky, friendly and very knowledgeable staff.

Some queuing at busy times. Extremely poor customer service. Refused to serve ahead of another customer who stood the other side of the line and had literally just walked up. Apparently there is a que for selling and a que for buying.

I made her aware of this but she still wanted to serve him first. End result you have lost my custom for good! Busy store, slow at seeing to customers but they are very good customer service.

And sometimes their staff are dotted around the unit. Worth a visit. Better system and staff needed! Werent able to find 11 discs for a box set! Couldnt be bothered looking further or asking for assistance!

If you are looking at buying anything media tech, or gaming, film, camera related, CeX should be your first port of call. Knowledgeable, and very patient staff, who put up with a lot of aggressive customers, but are still friendly.

Expect to have to queue, whether you are buying or selling, but you can save yourself literally hundreds of pounds if you know what you are looking for. If you go to the Cardiff shop and you are served by a young girl with pink ends to her hair either get someone else of leave. She served me. I was clearly quite upset and confused, I was also clearly wearing the national autism awareness bracelet. She was very unhelpful to the point of outright rudeness.

I now have a voucher which I did not want but there we are. I will have to spend it in the shop but after that I will shred my card and never use this company again. Good value on some products, moderately friendly staff. The till and queuing area is a joke however. Good selection of games, dvds, blueray and computer parts and accessories all at a fair price. Even the trade in prices are great especially when compared to other competing companies. Its my first and usually only stop when Im looking for games, a new controller or a headset.

Again CEX offer more online than they are ever prepared to pay in the shop. This is false advertising. Avoid this company. Usually really good for games etc, gotta double check the prices they advertise at. Without telling me they gone up or price matching the original price it was priced at! Cardiff store being the problem of it. Great shop, Ive traded in here a few times as well as buying stuff. Never had any problems. Only downside is there are a lot of weirdos with poor personal hygiene who frequent this shop.

Bring a peg for your nose. Good selection, prices a little high but still decent. Worth checking out the site though ss sometimes prices differ! Great for movies. Ps4 games prices are generally ok, you can sometimes find it cheaper on eBay. Dont buy a controller from them as they are priced almost as new ones.

Refused to refund for a phone that was sold broken!! The phone wasnt working in the store, even though all the others were. And the sales assistant said It just doesnt have a charge but itll be fine So Im sure he knew then and there the phone was already faulty. Bare in mind the phone didnt turn on in the store. When I went back same day to get a refund, they said the phone needed to be tested?!?!

For what exactly because the phone was never working nor never charging as the store would have charged it! Never opens till too late too many pizza bije delivery bikes outside using foul language cant enjoy. Just another review to give a shout out to these guys and girls. They are all top class people, always franticly busy but always have time for giving us customers the best experience possible. The female manageress there is probably one of the best workers Ive come accross in any store.

Down to earth, honest and has a sence that she genuinely cares that she deals with a situation in the best way possible. Honestly I cant credit this entire team enough though. All totally unique people and characters. All so willing to help out, whether it be recommending a game all the way to detailed info on hardware products.

No sales pitch to make you buy. Just straight up facts on products capability. I myself have had a few awkward moments to deal with in this store that most businesses would handle in either an incorrect manner or just not know how to handle it at all. Not here. Each one of them is a total credit to your brand and as a company should be proud of this team. I just wish I was better with names to give them all proper shout outs! Good experience, staff were very helpful and answered questions, showed status of product before we bought it and were polite.
