I enjoyed working with staff at this technical college. I worked with the counselor and disabilities coordinator and I had fun setting up meetings, lunches, giving tests and taking down answers, and organizing office material.

No complaints! My overall review is that Ogeechee Tech is a great place to work. You are always busy and it is a very diverse culture. If there is a problem, you can always go to your supervisor to talk. Pros Very family oriented. Cons Sometimes not enough time to complete tasks. No place for advancement even with a College degree for Adjunct Instructors. Poor communication with contract employees.

Will let you go without prior notification or explanation after contract expires and will not inform you if "your" position is still available. Asked to teach other classes that an instructor is not suited to teach. Management is understaffed and they fish for any instructor to cover their position. A typical day at work is good as I worked from home. Pros Work from home. Cons Poor communication with contract employees. Great place to work for a career.

The people you work with are kind and generous. The work place culture is family like. We have fun on our staff development days. For the most part, I've enjoyed working at Ogeechee Tech. But I have difficulty working with my current supervisor. But I enjoy the majority of the people and the atmosphere at the College. Work from home. Management is accessible and easy to work with. I can make my own schedule. The pay is not necessarily inline with other Adjunct jobs. Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with.

Racially segregated and a good ole boy feel. I enjoyed the compensation and the conferences I attended. Management did not fully respect faculty. The hardest part of the job was watching student being racially discriminated against and having faculty blatantly talking about their racial biases.

Pros seminars, pay. Cons racial bias. Yes No There are 1 unhelpful reviews 1. A good place to work, you meet people from all over the world. I enjoyed my job in helping the students. I miss the students. I was always busy with emails and phone calls students checking on their financial aid. Pros nothing stays the same, rules always changing to better help students. Cons unfair pay. Only working a few hours one night a week I have a great time working at OTC.

The people there are friendly and willing to help across the board. The deans are great, tenured professors are great. They were willing to work around my other work schedule. Visit GeorgiaSouthern. Posted in Press Releases. Georgia Southern University Newsroom. Tweets by GeorgiaSouthern.
