You could always tape the black rubber pieces off if you want to but as you can see I just painted them as well. There are so many colors of spray paint out there so the possibilities are endless. I was still pretty happy with silver but I debated doing oil rubbed bronze for a minute! I am certainly going to give this a try. I was looking at my shower caddy thinking it needed to go. I will give it another chance. I'm using it now on a stand up industrial style lamp and it's just gorgeous!
