We called again the next morning, and maintenance had remedied the problem by 11 am that day. Our housekeeper was friendly, efficient and cheerful. I have nothing bad to say about her services or the cleanliness of our room. The night time show in the one restaurant that you have to make reservations for, Rauxa, was excellent. I believe that we received the best food and the best service of our entire stay during our dinner at this restaurant.

The DJ Gabriel was also excellent, providing energetic and danceable music with his talented musical mixes during and in between acts of the show. I highly recommend going to see this show and also experiencing his musical entertainment. In summary, even though this resort is rated as a 5 star resort, many aspects of my stay were not comparable to other 5 star resorts that I have been to.

I did really enjoy my stay there and would consider returning if I knew that the food and the pool towel difficulties had been addressed and improved upon. I would recommend a stay at this resort if you aren't too bothered by minor, but ever present difficulties and if you are mainly seeking an excellent pool and beach experience. WOW, this trip was amazing. I loved it so much, I plan to go back in January. We used Kalida to transport us to and from the airport. We arrived at Catalonia Royal Tulum around 12p and quickly checked in.

We did upgrade onsite. We headed to B Love for lunch. At we used the Whats Up app to communicate with the front desk. They informed us that our room was ready. The room was great.

The double shower head with individual controls set one to hot and one to cold, ahhhh was awesome. The room was cool, spacious, beds were comfortable, and they has an outdoor balcony. We were to most of the on-property restaurants and they were all delicious. I only did the buffet for breakfast and lunch. I was very pleased with the buffet selection. They have so many amazing fruits to try. So good!! The pool was great. Loved the pool bar.

Everyone was chill and kind. Note, you can not bring food out to the pool. If you want lunch you have to go into the buffet. The hot tub is dreamy. Not too warm, not too cold.

It overlooks the stunning Caribbean. I could sit there all way and take in the amazing views. There were plenty of activities offered onsite. Each day there is a listing of all of the activities going on. You can join in or watch from afar or ignore it all.

There were many relaxation options on the beach. Beach beds, hammocks, lounge chairs, and big beach pillows. The seaweed was not a big issue for us.

They clean it up several times a day. The services was awesome. Everyone at the resort did such a great job of taking care of us and our needs. People walk around the pool and beach area to get us drinks. You can do this on property. Make an appointment with the front desk. I would also like to say that we did an excursion with Adventuras Mayas.

It was awesome. We did the Cenote tour. I highly recommend it. I loved this resort and this trip so much that I'm coming back. I have done serveral all inclusives in the past and have been on several Caribbean cruises. Nothing compares to this trip. I am recommending Catalonia Royal Tulum to my co-workers and my friends. The staff was great. But i have 3 problems, my issues are these. Privilege should mean something. Cheaper resorts have better selections of drinks, stop cheating and taking shortcuts. The food wasn't great, beloved was great!! But, the other place need help!! And last 3rd stop pushing the timeshare. We really loved our stay at Catalonia Royal Tulum. All the staff was extremely kind and so attentive to us. We felt like we were at home.

We enjoyed our visit very much. We went with a total of 10 people, all neighbors who have been doing this 6 of us for close to 30 yers. The service, staff and food was very well done. The Mexican restaurant was the best service exept for the pool bar, they were awesome! Special props to Adndres! I thought, and my favorite meal was at the Italin rest. The place was on the smaller side which made it more intimate to me. Met some great people! I could go on, but you get the idea, Great vacation,and great value.

The Catalonia Royal Tulum Resort is an exceptional destination complete with beautiful scenery, luxurious amenities, and outstanding customer service. The staff was great I highly recommend this resort. We had a fantastic stay at The Catalonia Royal Tulum. From the arrival and friendly front desk to our amazing room. The food was above and beyond my expectation, tasty and beautiful presentation. We love our special Beloved restaurant. Tried breakfast, lunch and dinner there with outstanding food and service. Walking the walkways from the lobby to the rooms and pool area was beautiful with wildlife everywhere.

I can't say anything negative from our full week there. Loved every minute and we will be back. We have stayed several times at Royal Tulum, We feel we are in our own kingdom. The beautiful lay out of the resort, right in the middle of mother's nature, the ocean and the wild forest. All the staff members are so great, friendly and really care and do their best to make you feel relaxed and right at home.

Welcome to CataloniaRoyalTulum. He went over and beyond to make our ride the best. All the staff were so amazing and courteous. The grounds are beautiful and spectacular at night. The staff was always accommodating and the room was always clean and comfortable.

The bar in the lobby and Beloved bar privilege package were the best ones in the hotel. The Italian, Beloved, and Rauxa restaurants served the best meals in my opinion. It is nestled in a lush jungle with direct beach access to a stunning beach. The property was clean, beautiful and easy to navigate.

The staff and entertainment was fantastic. Most importantly, the drinks were tasty and always flowing! The staff was incredible! Especially Julio, Argel and Ali! They treated me wonderful!
